    <title>My Fandom Chasing Me in the Middle East!!</title>

    <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;font color="#660066"&gt;&lt;img style="WIDTH: 509px; HEIGHT: 300px" height="452" alt="" width="800" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/GIGIDM/112.jpg" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;font size="2"&gt;I was prepared NOT to hear any about any of my fandoms when I left for my Middle East holiday last May 18th so&amp;nbsp; I brought my Ipod to keep me company.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On my 2nd day here, I was on a desert safari when my japanese fandom caught up with me at the most unexpected time.&amp;nbsp; Our cool and kick-ass driver Fahd who I wanted to kill at that time was dune bashing like crazy whenever he hears me scream.&amp;nbsp; He also has this habit of pumping up the volume of the car stereo with all sorts of music from hip hop to arabic hop (which is surprisingly nice to my ears..).&amp;nbsp; On one terrifying but adrenaline trick he did (which was leave the 4x4 hanging face down in the sand dune), I was hanging on to dear life and just to be mean asked him this question..&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Me:&amp;nbsp; "Fahd you bad boy you, if you're going to kill me with this thing put some japanese music on!"&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fahd:&amp;nbsp; "You want japanese music?&amp;nbsp; I have!"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And he proceeds to tinker with his Ipod.&amp;nbsp; He pumped the volume and then swooped down the 10 feet or something desert sand with guess what?&amp;nbsp; SMAP's Tabun Alright!!!&amp;nbsp; The bad-assed&amp;nbsp;guy from Kuwait and&amp;nbsp;now lives in Dubai&amp;nbsp;had tons of SMAP music in his IPOD.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then while shopping for omiyages (gifts) for my nephews at a Toy Store in the Mall of the Emirates (one of their biggest shopping malls), I was patiently waiting to pay for my purchases when I stopped and couldn't believe what I was hearing on their store music&amp;nbsp;blasting loudly&amp;nbsp;- F4's Can't Help Falling In Love With You!!!&amp;nbsp; Imagine my surprise when I heard the chinese words! Hahaha!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Since I am into a tri-nation fandom..I am waiting what Korean fandom will chase me here.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</content>

    <title>Mike He Drama Marathon....and Lee Wei =)</title>

    <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#800080" size="3"&gt;So I'm still at it.&amp;nbsp; Watching Mike He dramas.&amp;nbsp; I just finished watching his latest drama called Dou Niu Yao Bu Yao? / Bullfighting.&amp;nbsp; Again, the drama kept me glued up to the 17th episode.&amp;nbsp; I also liked the chemistry of Mike and Hebe as well as the Mike and Rainie team up.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What I did not expect was catching my jaw drop whenever I see a close up of Lei Wei.&amp;nbsp; First time to see him in a drama.&amp;nbsp; Did not realize he is gorgeous too.&amp;nbsp; Not as gorgeous as Mike but a jawdropper nevertheless.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One of the things that I realized (actually it is the closet Mike fan Ochie that pointed it out to me) was that many scenes during the first half of the drama&amp;nbsp;were MG'esque.&amp;nbsp; Meaning, they resemble scenes from Meteor Garden, which really gave me goosebumps.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Since I am a technosaurus, the proof of my addiction is when I take the time to do screen captures. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/GIGIDM/Kung%20Anik-Anik/vlcsnap-993326.jpg" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These guy has one of the most expressive eyes...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/GIGIDM/Kung%20Anik-Anik/vlcsnap-985013.jpg" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But like I said, Lee Wei looked so cool and uber fashionable in the drama.&amp;nbsp; Kudos to his stylist!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/GIGIDM/Kung%20Anik-Anik/vlcsnap-992135.jpg" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pensive Shen Ruo He (and the 5 o'clock shadow...), Mike's character in the drama.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/GIGIDM/Kung%20Anik-Anik/vlcsnap-1329220.jpg" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With of course a pensive Jin Zi Cong (I love his color!), Lee Wei's character in the drama.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</content>

In quick succession, I watched his dramas from Devil Beside You, Love Contract and Why Why Love. I am now just waiting for my copy of Bullfighting. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/GIGIDM/Kung%20Anik-Anik/mike18.jpg" /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Not only was I drama obsessed, I am also music video obsessed.     <content type="html">&lt;strong&gt;&lt;font color="#800080" size="4"&gt;My tri-nation fandom has swung back to Taipei starting last October when I attended F4's Wish to See you in Taiwan Fan Party and album launch events of Vic "Zaizai" Chou.&amp;nbsp; I saw this MV of Zaizai that featured footages of his events and voila, I saw my face!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/GIGIDM/Kung%20Anik-Anik/vlcsnap-2231057.jpg" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So I'm off to Taipei again to indulge once more.&amp;nbsp; This is such an incurable virus but I just can't help it.&amp;nbsp; How do you resist it?&amp;nbsp; It is F4's 3rd album which we have been waiting for 5 years!&amp;nbsp; It could be their last..who knows...another 5 years perhaps...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I know reasons...hahaha!&amp;nbsp; But well I am prepared to queu and chase with a bunch of crackers and chocolates for sustenance.&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">&lt;p style="MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;font color="#660066" size="3"&gt;I have just&amp;nbsp;finished watching&amp;nbsp;Sunflower, the movie starring Kim Rae Won as Taesik, an ex-con who has changed and is trying to redeem himself by being a good son and brother.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Even if I did not like Kim Rae Won, this movie would have made an impression still.&amp;nbsp; The movie does not have a unique plot but the acting was so well done.&amp;nbsp; Rae Won's&amp;nbsp;"look"&amp;nbsp;was deglamorized and he was effective in action scenes the same way he is effective in romantic comedies and dramas.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Parallelisms with Kimura Takuya's Love and Honor (Bushi no Ichibun) came to my mind as I watched&amp;nbsp;and I could not form sentences to describe what I think about the movie.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I could only&amp;nbsp;remember the "words" tha&amp;nbsp;popped out of my head and here are some of them together with screen caps.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;u&gt;Beauty that shines through&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/u&gt;Rae Won&amp;nbsp;was made to look more mature but&amp;nbsp;his beauty still shines through the hair cut, the hunched shoulders and the nondescript clothes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/GIGIDM/Kim%20Rae%20Won/vlcsnap-301522.jpg" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;u&gt;Awesome&amp;nbsp;portrayal&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;a name="cutid1"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div class="ljcut" text="Awesome!  Check under the cut to see why..."&gt;He had on a tattooed body in the movie....but he still looked very hot!&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/GIGIDM/Kim%20Rae%20Won/vlcsnap-299800.jpg" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And probably one of the most&amp;nbsp;heart wrenching&amp;nbsp;cap that I ever did...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/GIGIDM/Kim%20Rae%20Won/vlcsnap-307042.jpg" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Unlike Shinnojo where redemption came in the form of revenge and getting his wife Kayo back, Taesik lost almost everything.&amp;nbsp; Funny how the words of Shinnojo is the one that kept repeating in my head as I watched the beautifully choreographed finale scene of this movie - Victory will only be&amp;nbsp;gained when one is prepared to die.&amp;nbsp; I felt all of&amp;nbsp;Taesik's emotions from sadness to happines.&amp;nbsp; And then&amp;nbsp;from anger to resolution.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mianhe Takuya...I meandered to the Korean drama sphere and fell for a guy who is also talented just like you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;font color="#660066" size="3"&gt;It would always be something that has created an impact in me for me to update my journals.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I just came from the showing of Bushi no Ichibun at the 9th Cinemanila International Film Festival held at the Gateway Mall in Quezon City.&amp;nbsp; I was with around 10 other girls who are all part of Kimura Takuya's harem of believers in the Philippines.&amp;nbsp; Usually we would normally be sitting around our computers in our little online world but this is one occasion where a fangirl has got to do what a fangirl must do - go out there and support THE ULTIMATE in his maiden solo starrer.&amp;nbsp; Never mind that we already saw the movie twice from the original DVD that costed us almost JYP 7,000 and the pirated PHP 50 copy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is only the second time that Takuya graced Philippine theaters.&amp;nbsp; We saw him in 2046 but then again he was not the lead role in that film.&amp;nbsp; So Bushi no Ichibun (Love and Honor) is extra special.&amp;nbsp; This is Takuya Kimura all the way through.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;In the big screen.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We were afraid that the theater will be almost empty but were surprised that the theater is nicely filled.&amp;nbsp; We saw respectable personalities in Philippine cinema like Directors Joel Lamangan and Gil Portes who were sitting in front of us.&amp;nbsp; And so we got caught up in the story of Shinnojo Mimura and his wife Kayo.&amp;nbsp; We again laughed at the underlying humor that man servant Tokuhei brings to the movie.&amp;nbsp; We again felt the rage of Shinnojo for the dishonor Lord Shimura gave to his name and family.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;But what we did not expect and experience at all ever is the audience applauding - yes applauses! - when the credits rolled.&amp;nbsp; I was stunned for a few seconds.&amp;nbsp; And then tears started to roll down my face.&amp;nbsp; Happiness...Pride...Joy...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/GIGIDM/Kung%20Anik-Anik/CTC-1993-image5.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;font color="#663399" size="3"&gt;It's been a couple of months since I updated my journal.&amp;nbsp; So an update on my fangirl activities is in order.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oh first and foremost, my laptop died and the new one won't arrive until the first week of August.&amp;nbsp; Which means that I have not been a dutiful fangirl in visiting all the sites that I usually go to.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So with nothing to tap on when I get home at night, I found solace in watching dramas and more dramas.&amp;nbsp; I have been on a KIM RAE WON marathon watching - Which Planet/Star Are You From?, Love Story in Harvard and now My Love Patzzi.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have also been in a NAGASE TOMOYA mode watching - Love and Eros, My Boss My Hero and now Tiger and Dragon.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Of course despite the interruption of these gorgeous guys, my main man is still KIMURA TAKUYA.&amp;nbsp; I was delighted when my Bushi no Ichibun dvd finally arrived.&amp;nbsp; And despite the reviews and comments that I've read, I still watched with a fresh eye and found the movie beautiful in its simplicity.&amp;nbsp; Bravo Takuya!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Oh and I did some travelling as well...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a name="cutid1"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div class="ljcut" text="Photos in Thailand with my staff Ena..."&gt;&lt;img style="WIDTH: 495px; HEIGHT: 342px" height="594" width="643" alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/GIGIDM/Thailand%20Rendevouz%202007/DSC02190.jpg" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We were zooming our way around in a Tuk-tuk much of our trip.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img style="WIDTH: 501px; HEIGHT: 382px" height="600" width="517" alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/GIGIDM/Thailand%20Rendevouz%202007/DSC02198.jpg" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Grand Palace is one of my favorites.&amp;nbsp; Awesome piece of work.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img style="WIDTH: 510px; HEIGHT: 452px" height="600" width="510" alt="" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/GIGIDM/Thailand%20Rendevouz%202007/DSC02221.jpg" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Spent a day in Pattaya which is 2 hours from Bangkok.&amp;nbsp; Bonded with my Japanese friend Satoko and her kawaii 2 little girls.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a name="cutid2"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div class="ljcut" text="Photos from Thailand with my staff Ena"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;</content>

    <content type="html">&lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;font color="#660099" size="3"&gt;I was just about getting ready to wallow in my blue violet usual birthday feeling when I put on the disc of F4's guesting on SmapXSmap.&amp;nbsp; I don't care what others say but I am one of those who have dreamed of this scenario since 2005.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So I was saved from the usual depression with how funny Takuya, Shingo and Tsuyoshi were as well as the expressions on the faces of the F4 boys who despite my love for SMAP, I also still love.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Kawaii!&amp;nbsp; F4 gesturing that they are okay to take on the dango piercing challenge. Hahaha!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img height="288" alt="" width="512" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v90/GIGIDM/F4 at SXS 2007/F4SXS_1.jpg" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a name="cutid1"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;div class="ljcut" text="And so the game begins.."&gt;F4 Start-o!&amp;nbsp; The boys have to dance in the middle before they do the throw and stick it act.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Zaizai is just so funny!
